Subject: Co-op Application - Automation & Robotics Engineering Student
Dear Hiring Manager,
Currently an Automation and Robotics Engineering (BEARE, BEng) student at Algonquin College, the Co-op position presents an ideal opportunity for applying significant hands-on experience. This includes over 8,000 hours of practical manufacturing expertise as a certified welder, complemented by comprehensive mechanical skills gained from graduating from the Motive Power Technician Diesel Equipment and Truck program.
The BEARE curriculum has established a strong technical foundation, including in CAD modelling (SolidWorks), C++ and Arduino programming, and a solid understanding of electrical circuit design and analysis. Mechanical aptitude is further demonstrated through experience operating machinist equipment and practical competence as a tradesman (welder and mechanic).
Throughout all previous employment and academic terms, performance has been characterized by reliability and adherence to strict professionalism. Enthusiasm for joining your team in this Co-op capacity is strong, would be a valuable resource for your company at some point if you were to give employment as a co-op student.
