• The trainee is expected to acquire a foundational understanding of data engineering concepts
and principles, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval.
• Assist with designing and implementing database schemas.
• Gain hands-on experience with data engineering tools and platforms, which may include SQL
databases, data warehousing solutions, and cloud-based services like AWS.
• Learn about data quality best practices and participate in data validation and testing activities to
ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Design, implement, and automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes,(ETL)
ensuring a smooth transition from on-premises servers to cloud-based storage solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering through self- study,
online courses, and participation in relevant communities
