I am a healthcare professional with a heart for patient care and a mind for operational excellence. With over 18 years of diverse experience in the UAE and South Africa—spanning clinical midwifery, healthcare operations, HR management, and multi-site clinic leadership—I thrive at the intersection of care delivery and organizational efficiency.
In recent years, I’ve had the privilege to lead major projects including:
• Full EMR migrations and customizations
• Opening and expanding healthcare clinics across the UAE
• Reducing patient waiting times by over 80% through smart workflow design
• Developing and implementing SOPs, HR frameworks, and cost-saving strategies
• Ensuring DHA compliance and managing staff licensing, visas, and malpractice coverage
I hold a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a background in nursing and midwifery, giving me a holistic understanding of healthcare systems—both from the bedside and the boardroom.
I believe that meaningful change begins internally—with policies, people, and processes—and I’m driven to create healthcare environments where staff are empowered, operations run smoothly, and patients receive the care they deserve.
Let’s connect if you’re passionate about transforming healthcare systems, expanding services, or building high-performing clinical teams in the UAE and beyond.

Medical Operations Manager

Good day To whom it may concern: My name is Anoesjka Myburg, I am a healthcare professional with a passion for people. I started off on the clinical side of healthcare, as a registered nurse and midwife - where I was able to learn a lot about interacting with people and tending to their needs. The need to grow and do more, drove me to do my paediatric specialization and once completed, I decided to grab hold of new opportunities within the UAE. Once established in the UAE, I found myself once again wanting to learn and do more, which openend the door to me deciding to do my MBA and with this new knowledge at hand pursue supporting people not only clinically, but managerially also. I found that guiding and supporting my fellow staff was just as rewarding as dealing with my patients and once I was head hunted by EHN (Emirates Home Nursing), decided to grab the opportunity to start up their midwifery unit, where I was able to manage the team and also involve my other passion, training into my daily activities - learning about all DHA requirements. The nurses needed guidance to improve their clinical care, but also a more supportive manager, to help them feel heard and work smarter, not necessarily harder, which offered our patients better care from all perspectives. ART fertility clinics head hunted me for their medical operations manager position, which I decided to grab with both hands, starting off only managing the flag ship clinic in Abu Dhabi where we offered outpatient services and performed theatre procedures, with ivf lab, clinical lab and genetics lab support with our on-site facilities - this afforded me the opportunity to learn all about DOH and their requirements. My role soon expanded to an overview of clinics in Al Ain (which we established from scratch) and Dubai (where we converted a satellite clinic to a full fledged clinic). My role at ART Fertility Clinics opened my eyes to my interest in employing the right people and supporting them adequately and my passion for people grew from patients to colleagues and supporting them adequately on all fronts. I decided to complete my contract with ART fertility clinics and opt for finding a position back in Dubai for personal reasons. Kind regards Anoesjka Myburg
