Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
Ensure that the service to the guest is as per hotel standards in order to maximize guest satisfaction and departmental profit.
Interact positively and professionally with guest, colleagues and other departments as appropriate and required.
Recommend and suggest specialties to guest and up sell whenever possible.
Take order from guests, put item through micros and follow through service in compliance with hotel standards, clearing and resetting tables once the guests have finished.
Collect supplies from store and ensure all side stations are correctly stocked, tidy and clean.
Provide excellent customer service to everyone who visits.
Assist diners with ordering by answering menu questions or making recommendations upon request.
Inform guests about restaurant customer loyalty program, or any other specials and promotions.
Up-sell any additional products when appropriate.
Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries.
Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
