Data Analysis: Understand the clients’ requirements and adapt the solution to their needs. From the installation to Data
extractions and training, first hands-on solution.
• Data Modeling: After first install, and Environment/Data sources mapping and configuration, the Data-model design allowed
me to create the Data warehouse for the client. This includes normalization, creation of custom/calculated fields and
optimization.
• Extract, Transform, Load (ETL): Either on premise or Cloud installation Using our DataSync tool, we can extract data from
various sources, i.e. clients’ ERPs and Databases.
• Reports and Dashboards: Highlight your ability to create informative and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards for
stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Mostly SQL/T-SQL to manage data, transform, troubleshoot or debug SQL errors from ETLs. VBA was
used to troubleshoot Excel Add-in tools used for Income Statements and Balance Sheet reporting. Python for Data analysis
when required.
• Project Management: I was assigned various clients mainly in US and Canada our time zone, but I often worked with clients
in UK, rest of Europe and even in the U.A.E. adapting to their time zones to offer a personalized BI Service. From the
touchpoint with a quick Demo of the solution, then to understand their requirements to the point of transferring them to Sales
for Licensing options to then scheduling installation, Data Extraction and training. Some projects can last for a few weeks or
several months, and my involvement may occur either at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the project for
optimization purpose or training them on the use of reports and dashboards.
• Communication and problem-solving skills are fundamental to effectively offer service with non-technical individuals,
translating complex B.I. concepts into understandable terms for decision-makers.
