<p>Capstone Project, Bahçe<em>ş</em>ehir University, 2024–2025</p><p>• 4-person capstone team; built a hybrid LSTM + Random Forest model in Python to predict BTC/USDT price direction and</p><p>generate buy/sell/hold trading signals from live Binance market data.</p><p>• Reached up to 94.1% backtested accuracy; results fed into a React/Flask web app for real-time signal display.</p><p></p>

Diabetic Retinopathy Detection from Fundus Images

<p>Individual Project, 2024</p><p></p><p>• Independently trained an EfficientNetB0 deep learning model (PyTorch) to classify retinal images into 5 diabetic</p><p>retinopathy stages, using data augmentation to fix a heavily imbalanced dataset.</p><p>• Achieved 89% validation accuracy and a 0.90 weighted F1-score across all 5 classes.</p><p></p>
