<p>During my experience as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist at Abt Global, I was responsible for reviewing and validating entomological data before its integration into DHIS2.</p><p>On one occasion, I identified an inconsistency in an Excel dataset where a site identifier did not match the reference information.</p><p>To resolve the issue, I compared the affected record with the original source data to verify the correct identifier. I preserved the original file and made the necessary correction in a working copy, without modifying any unrelated fields.</p><p>When information could not be verified, I left it unchanged and referred the issue to the appropriate team for clarification rather than making assumptions.</p><p>This process helped maintain data accuracy, integrity, and traceability while ensuring that only verified information was prepared for integration into DHIS2.</p>
