IIT graduate with hands-on experience in Python-based data analysis, machine learning, and AI-powered application development. Skilled in building predictive models, conducting exploratory data analysis, and developing intelligent solutions using LLMs, Flask, and modern data science tools. Passionate about solving complex real-world problems through analytical thinking, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience
Data Analyst Intern

Performed data cleaning and quality audits on a ~40,000-record hospital admissions dataset, identifying missing values, duplicates, and illogical/negative Length of Stay (LOS) entries.

Conducted exploratory data analysis and correlation analysis across 39+ clinical, operational, and social-determinant features to surface trends in patient outcomes, cost, and readmission risk.

Found a 30-day readmission rate of ~14.87% and a right-skewed LOS distribution (median ~2.79 days), insights that informed the team's shift toward non-linear, ensemble-based modeling.

Assisted teammates in testing and validating predictive models (Logistic Regression, Random Forest) for LOS and readmission risk as part of a 10-member team, the readmission model reached 94.77% AUC.

AI Developer Intern

Developed a conversational AI chatbot using Cohere LLMs to answer user queries from custom knowledge sources.

Implemented Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with FAISS vector embeddings to deliver context-aware, accurate responses.

Applied prompt engineering techniques to manage conversation flow, tone, and multi-turn continuity.

Built and deployed a Flask-based web application with voice-enabled interaction via Speech-to-Text integration.

Ensured system reliability through session management and rate limiting using Flask-Limiter.
