I’m Ahmed Mohsen, a junior back-end developer from Fayoum, Egypt, currently in my third year of studying Computer Science. I’ve built a strong foundation in programming, working with languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, Java, SQL, and NoSQL. My main focus has been on backend development using technologies like Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and React, which I’ve used in several of my projects.
One of my key projects is **ClickCart**, an e-commerce platform where I implemented advanced features like secure authentication, payment processing with Stripe, and cloud storage integration using Cloudinary. Another project I’m proud of is **Saraha**, a real-time chat application that uses Socket.io for instant messaging and offers both anonymous and public chat modes. Currently, I’m also developing **BookEra**, an online bookstore project that deepens my understanding of backend development.
Beyond coding, I’ve been deeply involved in the **ICPC Community** at Fayoum University, where I’m currently the Vice Leader. I’ve had the opportunity to mentor students and help them prepare for the **Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC)**, where I’ve participated and achieved advanced ranks in 2023 and 2024. I’m also an active member of the **IEEE problem-solving team**, organizing and facilitating weekly contests to boost problem-solving skills.
I’m always eager to learn and improve, whether it’s through building real-world projects or helping others develop their problem-solving abilities. My journey so far has been a mix of technical growth and community involvement, and I’m excited to continue pushing my skills to the next level.
