<ol><li>This project focuses on developing a Business Intelligence (BI) solution for a marquee hire company to improve business performance, operational efficiency and strategic decision-making through data analysis and visualisation.</li><li>The project will involve collecting, integrating and analysing data from multiple areas of the business, including customer bookings, revenue, staffing, equipment allocation, transportation, logistics and operational expenditure. Using Microsoft Excel for data management and preparation, alongside Power BI for data modelling, analysis and interactive visualisation, the aim is to transform raw business data into meaningful insights that support informed management decisions.</li><li>A key aspect of the project will be examining how resources are allocated across multiple bookings and event locations. This will include analysing staff availability, working hours, labour costs, vehicle utilisation, delivery schedules, fuel consumption and transportation expenses to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction.</li><li>The project will also incorporate external weather data to assess how environmental conditions, such as rainfall, wind speed and temperature, may affect scheduled events.
