Role description:

Site-based Engineer required for Pampanga/Benguet with proven experience in clean room environments or the semiconductor sector. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation maintenance and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Role accountabilities:

Lead the planning and coordination of commissioning and testing activities carried out by others for systems equipment and facilities monitoring and verifying that installation testing and operation meet intended requirements.
Provide the project management team with technical input and support to help monitor and verify proper project delivery.
Work closely with and oversee third-party vendors contractors and suppliers to monitor and verify adherence to project requirements and relevant standards.
Recognize assess and manage risks associated with commissioning and testing to help monitor and verify safety quality and system reliability.
Monitor and verify that all commissioning and testing activities align with applicable laws regulations and industry standards.
Develop and put into effect a full commissioning plan covering schedules procedures and protocols.
Carry out system testing and validation activities to monitor and verify that systems equipment and facilities perform as intended.
Verify that systems equipment and facilities meet the required performance criteria and specification requirements.
Record and report defects or non-conformities and collaborate with the project team to close out the issues.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of commissioning and testing activities including test reports certification records and training documentation.
Provide training and orientation for operations and maintenance personnel on the correct operation and upkeep of systems equipment and facilities.
Document lessons learned throughout the project to support improved quality and delivery on future projects.
Commission and test Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems including HVAC electrical and plumbing installations as well as fire suppression and life safety systems such as fire alarms sprinkler systems and emergency generators.
Commission and test building automation and control systems including HVAC controls lighting controls and security systems.
Commission and test energy management systems including energy-efficient lighting and HVAC applications.
Monitor and verify that commissioning and testing work supports LEED targets and broader sustainability objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Civil or Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in clean room environments or the semiconductor sector.
Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC engineering Commissioning or startup of systems Construction MEP
Testing inspection and validation of systems
Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC electrical controls)
Strong knowledge of Testing and commissioning processes
Familiarity with quality standards (ISO codes etc.)
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks
