Cloud Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer withexperience inTechnical Support System Administration and Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure strong troubleshooting skills basic automation knowledge and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud infrastructure alerts dashboards and ticketing systems to identify and resolve incidents.
• Provide L1 support for AWS and Azure environments including incident triage troubleshooting escalation and resolution.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user management access control patching backups and server health monitoring.
• Coordinate incidents with Infrastructure and Development teams while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Support cloud deployments maintenance activities and operational changes.
• Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using PowerShell Bash or Python.
• Create and update SOPs runbooks and technical documentation.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to monitoring automation and operational processes.
• Maintain accurate incident records and provide timely communication to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
• 24 years of experience in Cloud Support Technical Support or System Administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Good knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS TCP/IP VPN).
• Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools (CloudWatch Azure Monitor ServiceNow Jira etc.).
• Basic scripting/automation experience using PowerShell Bash or Python.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• AWS or Azure certifications are an added advantage.
