Job Summary
Maintenance Support Engineer Part-145
We are currently seeking a motivated and technically skilled Maintenance Support Engineer to join our Part-145 Maintenance Organization.
This is a key role within our maintenance support function providing technical expertise and engineering support to maintenance operations engineers and operational bases. You will play an important part in ensuring high standards of safety quality and efficiency across the organization.
Working closely with internal stakeholders OEMs aviation authorities and the operators CAMO you will contribute to technical development compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager (NP Part-145) and offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and professional aviation environment.
Key responsibilities for the role:
- Assist in evaluation and preparation of maintenance and modification instructions iaw CAMO instructions
- Act as a liaison between the operators CAMO OEMs Authorities and the Maintenance Organization
- Procurement of tools and support equipment evaluation of alternatives
- Follow up tools and support equipment calibration and / or maintenance requirement / due dates
- Take part in occurrence report processing and investigations
- Develop procedures / alternative procedures
- Follow up maintenance related vendors / sub-contractors
- Participate in risk assessments as required
- Act as adviser on chemicals related to OEM issued maintenance data
- Support chemical substitution processes as required
- Responsible for procedures related to the use and handling of chemicals
- Responsible for procedures related to FOD management and act as FOD POC for BNAS P-145
Preferred qualifications Knowledge and Skills:
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background. Please note that not all qualifications are required and we encourage candidates with relevant experience to apply.
- Part-66 B1/B2 license or a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
- Experience from Part-145 and/or Part-CAMO organizations is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant EASA regulations (Part-145 / Part-CAMO)
- Experience in maintenance engineering work is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical and structured approach
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
