We are looking for several experienced Senior Analysis Engineer to strengthen and further develop our engineering team within Analysis Engineering.

We are seekingmotivated Senior Analysis Engineers to become a part of our dynamic Engineering team. The analysis engineering team are responsible for delivering fit for purpose installation analysis to projects and/or tenders with specific focus on safe and cost effective installation operations.

As a Senior Analysis Engineer you will be involved in developing models for engineering problems andanalyseand evaluate various aspect for a design or system. Your creativity andexpertisewill be essential in creating andanalysingsolutions to meetcustomerrequirements and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

By ensuringtimelycompletion andmaintainingexceptional quality in all assigned tasks your contribution will play a crucial role in the overall success of our projects.

You will be involved in performing dynamic and static analyses inOrcaflexfor subsea operations from our vessels such as:

  • Flexible product installation and lay table development
  • Mooring in-place and installation
  • Towing and station keeping
  • Lifting analyses for complex lifts
  • RAOdevelopment usingOrcawave


Depending on project needs there may be occasional opportunities to travel offshore and gain hands-on operational experience.



Requirements

As a foundation you should have:

  • MinimumBachelorsdegreewithin marine/mechanical engineering or similar
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong technical skillscreativityand problem-solving abilities
  • Itsalso an advantage to haveprogramming skills (Python preferred) and knowledge of vessel motion analysis and RAO development


In addition to the requirements above we believe you should have the following experience:

SeniorAnalysis Engineer(5 yearsrelevant experience)

  • 5 years of experience withOrcaflexand relevant offshore operations
  • Flexlay experience experience with SIMOPRO is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of DNV-ST-N001and DNV-RP-N103
  • Able to work independently and take ownership in projects
  • Able to lead analysis work scopes and actively share knowledge and best practices with the team

Security assessment

For this position DOF Subsea Norway will conduct an assessment of the applicants security suitability including affiliations to high-risk countries and a background check. High-risk countries are defined as those that according to the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) are considered to pose a threat to Norways national security note that the outcome of such assessments may affect the recruitment process and the possibility of employment.

According to Norwegian security authorities candidates with affiliation to high-risk countries may pose a potential security risk because they are more vulnerable to being exploited and/or recruited by state threat actors. The assessment of affiliation to high-risk countries is carried out by asking all applicants to answer questions designed to identify any affiliation with high-risk countries. If the candidate proceeds further in the recruitment process additional mapping questions will be sent in order to assess the degree of affiliation with the high-risk country.

The affiliation assessment is based on non-discriminatory criteria and does not involve any differential treatment based on ethnicity or other protected characteristics. The assessment will focus on how closely the candidate is affiliated with the country through factors such as citizenship family relationships financial relationships or other affiliations. The assessment of affiliation to high-risk countries forms part of an overall assessment of the candidates security suitability.
