IT Security Architect

Were looking for an IT Security Architect to join us at Telia Norway to help strengthen security and enable scalable delivery across our IT landscape.

Im Vibeke Jørpeland Head of IT Value Delivery and Im looking for someone to grow with us. Youll join a team that enables delivery of IT solutions from architectural design and planning through implementation across a complex IT landscape.

What youll do:

In this role you will ensure proper security architecture across our IT solutions by applying secure-by-design practices best practices:

• Lead IT security architecture design ensuring security is built in from early planning through delivery
• Define and govern security principles standards and guardrails across systems integrations and data flows
• Translate security requirements into clear actionable specifications for delivery teams
• Advise system owners and architects on secure design across customer journeys integrations and system interfaces
• Drive understanding and adoption of security practices across teams building a strong securebydesign mindset
• Contribute to EPIC and feature analysis proactively identifying and reducing security and operational risk

What will help you thrive in this role:

Youre comfortable navigating a large organization and turning security requirements into practical architectural implementation. You combine technical depth with strong communication skills and you build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.

• Proven experience in security architecture product security or solution architecture in large and complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of security principles for distributed and integrated systems and how to apply them in real-world delivery
• Experience with security risk assessments and threat modelling and secure solution design
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST OWASP Zero Trust)
• Experience working with agile delivery and working close to development teams embedding security into design and delivery process
• Ability to work autonomously manage parallel activities and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.

This position requires security clearance. Candidates who are not already cleared must be eligible to obtain clearance and relevant checks/interviews will be conducted as part of the process.
