Job Summary

We are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented General Manager to lead and oversee the overall business operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth managing profitability ensuring operational excellence and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives.
This role requires a strong business leader with proven experience in P&L management business expansion stakeholder engagement and team leadership within the FMCG retail hospitality or distribution sectors.

Own and manage the business units Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.
Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth profitability and market share.
Oversee daily business operations across sales operations customer service and distribution functions.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
Identify and develop new business opportunities distribution channels and market expansion initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers partners suppliers and stakeholders.
Monitor business performance through KPIs financial reports and operational metrics.
Drive customer acquisition retention and overall customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with executive leadership to implement company-wide strategic goals.
Represent the organization at industry events partner engagements and key commercial meetings.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations licensing requirements and company policies.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Economics Marketing or a related field.
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
612 years of experience in a General Manager Country Manager Business Unit Head or similar leadership role.
Proven experience managing full P&L responsibility with measurable commercial results.
Strong background in FMCG retail hospitality distribution or related industries.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams across sales operations and customer-facing functions.
Proven track record of growing a business launching new markets or expanding into new geographic locations.
Strong financial management budgeting forecasting and business planning skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Strong leadership communication negotiation and decision-making skills.
Experience within the hospitality nightlife beverage or events industry is an added advantage.
Experience managing franchise multi-site or licensed outlet operations is desirable.
Understanding of regulatory compliance licensing requirements and industry best practices.
