Shift Pattern: 2 on 4 off
Sleep-ins: 1011 per month
Overtime: 20.86 per hour
Service: Ofsted Registered Childrens Residential Home (3-bed EBD)
Service Users: Children and Young People with Social Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) requiring therapeutic support
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 Leadership & Management desirable)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking to join a well-established childrens residential provider with an excellent reputation for delivering therapeutic child-centred care.
Based within a 3-bed Ofsted Registered Childrens Home you will play a key leadership role supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation of the home while ensuring children receive outstanding care within a safe nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Youll lead by example mentor staff maintain high regulatory standards and work directly with children to help them achieve positive and lasting outcomes.
As Deputy Manager you will:
Support and deputise for the Registered Manager in the overall running of the home.
Lead supervise and develop the residential team through coaching mentoring and performance management.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 safeguarding legislation and company policies.
Build positive therapeutic relationships with children and young people.
Support the implementation and review of individual care behaviour and therapeutic plans.
Plan rotas allocate staffing resources and ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Work collaboratively with social workers education providers therapists and other professionals.
Promote a stable nurturing and child-focused environment where young people can thrive.
Our client is looking for an experienced residential childcare professional who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people while supporting and developing a high-performing staff team.
Youll ideally be someone who enjoys leading from the front has excellent organisational skills and is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for children.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years experience working within an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home.
At least 1 years experience in a Senior Residential Support Worker Team Leader Deputy Manager or supervisory position.
Excellent understanding of:
Trauma-informed practice
Child development
Safeguarding
Childrens Homes Regulations 2015
Ofsted expectations and regulatory frameworks
Proven leadership delegation and team development skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Flexible to work a 2 on 4 off rota including sleep-ins and weekends.
Resilient adaptable and able to perform well under pressure.
Committed to ongoing professional development.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.
Experience managing staff performance supervision and team development.
