Key about your role

As aSenior Software Engineer (AI& Orchestration) you will play a key role in turning innovative ideas into scalable production-ready solutions. While you will be part ofKeylanesAI team your focus will be on the backend services integrations and platform capabilities that enable AI-powered functionality across our products.

Working closely with architects software engineers and AI specialists you will investigatenew technologiesvalidatearchitectural approaches and develop prototypes that help shape technical direction acrossKeylane. You will be trusted to take ownership of complex technical challenges translating open questions into practical recommendations and working solutions.

You will design and build backend services that support AI capabilities and their integration intoKeylanescore systems. This includes developing scalable APIs integration services and cloud-native applications using technologies such as Java Spring Boot Python Azure and modern development tooling. You will contribute to architectural discussions around distributed systems event-driven integration patterns security observability and platform engineering helping ensure solutions are scalable secure and reliable in production.

As a senior engineer you will actively mentor colleagues contribute to design discussions and help raise engineering standards through code reviews knowledge sharing and technical leadership. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction acrossKeylanewhile growing towards broader architectural responsibilities over time.

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and are comfortable working in environments where not every answer is known upfront. You combine strong software engineering fundamentals with curiosity pragmatism and a desire to continuously improve both technology and ways of working.

You bring:

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience;
• Experience developing services and integrations using Python;
• Experience designing and developing scalable software solutions in cloud-based environments preferably within Microsoft Azure;
• A solid understanding of distributed systems API design integration patterns and event-driven architectures;
• Experience designing and securing REST APIs including authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect;
• Experience leading technical investigations proof of concepts or prototypes and translating findings into practical recommendations;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to different audiences;
• A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing;
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

It would be great if you alsohaveexperience with technologies and concepts such asJavaKubernetes Docker Kafka Azure Service Bus AI-enabled development tools or AI platform technologies. Experience within a regulated environment such as insurance pensions banking or financial services is considered a plus.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.

• A monthly gross salary between 5.200 and 7.500 based on40 hoursper week;

• 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;
