About Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice’s Office of the Deputy Attorney General (International Law) handles a broad range of issues in the field of international law, including public international law, economic law and international humanitarian law. The Office is also at the forefront of advocating for Israel in various international forums and is responsible for overseeing legal proceedings against Israel and its officials in foreign jurisdictions.
Each year, the Office selects one or two foreign-trained, new immigrant lawyers as Oleh Interns. Our 12-month paid internship program is targeted towards foreign-trained Oleh lawyers seeking to satisfy their internship requirement for admission to the Israeli Bar. Our program affords Oleh Interns the unique opportunity to complete their internship requirement while working on some of the most fascinating and pressing issues facing Israel in the international arena
