As our SENIOR FACILITIES TECHNICIAN youll support HIDs success by:
Summary
Maintenance and conducting PM for Facility services onsite. Ensure all assignments are completed on time and reporting facility equipment issued to superiors. Comply with company policies Facility procedures Safety and Environmental policies
Essential Duties
Senior Facility Technician is required to check and ensure facility services functionality. operating maintaining troubleshooting and repairing on Aircon cooling system CDA LV electrical supply fire protection systems and others Facility services with well-functioning as daily basis. Immediately report to Facility Supervisor on no function Facility system or equipment. Conduct Facility PM and minor troubleshooting and repairing. Based on Facility PM plan.
Primary Duties
- Ensure all activities are performed in a manner that does not create unnecessary environmental impacts.
- Achieve department KPI and ensure tasks complete according to schedule or plan.
- Conduct routine inspection monitoring and maintenance of facility equipment based on PM plan and recording and reporting.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local regulations. (ST TNB JKKP)
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility equipment and facility services in plant.
- Attended onsite during emergency major breakdown on facility equipment or facility services.
- Ensure contractors conduct PM repairing jobs new facility setup according to annual service contract and PO.
- Assist or support in public enforcement emergency management local authorities inspection internal fire drill fire protection systems test and others related activities to facility systems or services
- Operating Managing Maintaining and troubleshooting facility services on site. (CDA Cooling system fire protection system and others related equipment).
- Capable operating Managing and troubleshooting on LV electrical systems and DB panel.
- Managing and Maintaining facility PM records.
- Training and guiding low-level technician on facility services (operating Managing troubleshooting as neassary).
- Support to facility supervisors on breakdown maintenance PM and others facility service issue
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of Senior Technician working experience.
- Familiar in CAD cooling system air conditioning fire protection system and LV electrical system.
- Understand as built drawings single line diagram. And electrical safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia language Both verbally and in writing.
- On call on-site support during emergency breakdown of facility equipment or facility services. As necessary.
- Any others task will be added on based on requirement from time to time.
- Alternately working on Saturday. And working rotating shift when required and work in night shift when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid AO or A4 Chargeman certificate with be advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of factory facilities services or equipment. operating managing and maintaining.
- Experience using relevant systems (eg. CDA fire protection and cooling systems).
- Capable of troubleshooting and performing basic device repairs (CDA Aircon cooling system fire protection system LV system and other facility services).
- Experience in Solar PV system operating maintaining and troubleshooting will be advantage.
- Proficient in MS office applications such as Word Excel Power Point
Work Environment
- Employees work primarily in an office environment within a well-ventilated area and are exposed to moderate noise levels.
- Working outdoors and at height when necessary
Work Requirements
- Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality Security Safety Business Continuity and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork including international travel may be required. Therefore employee must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport.
