We are hiring this role for an upcoming Data Centre Project in Johor. You will be responsible for planning managing and delivering electrical infrastructure projects within mission-critical data centre.Job Description
Project Planning & Execution
Manage full lifecycle of data centre project: new builds expansions upgrades retrofits and capacity enhancements.
Prepare project plans schedules budgets risk assessments and resource allocations.
Ensure electrical systems are integrated with mechanical IT and facility operations.
Electrical Infrastructure Management
Oversee installation and commissioning of various systems
Ensure electrical infrastructure meets data centre Tier requirements
Quality Compliance & Testing
Ensure all electrical works meet international and local codes
Conduct site inspections and quality audits throughout construction phases.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Evaluate and manage electrical contractors vendors and suppliers.
Oversee procurement of electrical equipment ensuring technical compliance and timely delivery.
Conduct coordination meetings and resolve technical/installation issues.
Risk Safety & Operational Continuity
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure projects meet uptime reliability and business continuity requirements.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as primary point of contact for clients consultants operations teams and leadership.
Provide regular progress updates dashboards and executive reports.
Coordinate with IT networking facilities and security teams to align project objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or other related fields
3 years or more project management experience in data centre mission-critical facilities or heavy electrical environments.
Hands-on experience with high-voltage low-voltage and critical power systems.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
