What You Will Get To Do:

As a Manager at SS&C Technologies Sdn. Bhd. you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team overseeing daily operations and contributing to the successful delivery of client projects and services. This position involves a blend of operational leadership team coordination and client communication aiming to drive efficiency and uphold our high standards of quality.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Assistant Manager to join our Private Markets Fund Accounting team. This role will support the oversight of fund accounting operations for private equity venture capital and/or real asset funds. The successful candidate will prepare or review complex fund calculations and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and fund governing documents.

Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & Operations

  • Prepare/Review and monthly/quarterly NAV calculations
  • Prepare/Review capital call and distribution allocations
  • Perform and review waterfall calculations
  • Ensure accurate booking of investment transactions
  • Oversee partner capital account maintenance
  • Review management fee and carried interest calculations

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare/Review quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Coordinate audit processes with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a point of contact for Client
  • Review and interpret Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs)
  • Assist with onboarding new funds and restructurings

Process & Controls

  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices
  • Support system implementations or upgrades

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Minimum 46 years of private equity / private markets fund accounting/ Audits experience.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required.
  • Experience reviewing NAVs and financial statements. Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS
  • Experience interpreting partnership agreements
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
