Job Summary

Our client a leading luxury interiors and bespoke furniture brand based in Nairobi is looking for an exceptional Sales & Client Experience Partner to drive revenue growth and deliver world-class client experiences across their portfolio.

This is a senior commercially driven role for someone who understands that in the luxury space sales and experience are inseparable. You will own a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals developers and design professionals building deep lasting relationships while aggressively growing revenue closing high-value contracts and positioning our client as the definitive leader in luxury interiors across Kenya and beyond.

You will bring strategic vision executive presence and a relentless drive to exceed targets while never losing sight of the exquisite client experience that sets our client apart. If you are a seasoned sales professional with a genuine passion for design and an instinct for cultivating relationships with discerning clients this is your role.


Key responsibilities

Sales leadership & revenue generation

  • Own the full sales cycle for major projects from initial pitch and proposal development through to contract close and project handover.

  • Set and consistently exceed ambitious personal sales targets directly contributing to our clients revenue goals.

  • Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts for bespoke furniture and luxury interior design projects.

  • Develop and present compelling tailored brand presentations that win prestigious residential and commercial projects.

  • Represent our client at high-level industry events and curated networking opportunities to build a robust pipeline.


Client strategy & portfolio growth

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for a portfolio of key clients deepening relationships and maximising lifetime value.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and new business development within the luxury residential and commercial sectors.

  • Analyse client profitability and refine service strategies to ensure mutually rewarding partnerships.

  • Cultivate deep relationships with high-net-worth individuals developers and design professionals translating their vision into reality.


Client experience & project leadership

  • Serve as the primary client advocate throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the clients vision is met and exceeded at every stage.

  • Chair key client meetings and presentations managing high-level expectations with confidence and grace.

  • Oversee project team output to guarantee all deliverables align with the clients brief and our clients standards of excellence.

  • Resolve complex client challenges and escalations decisively preserving and strengthening relationships in the process.


Team leadership & collaboration

  • Mentor and lead the Assistant Relationship Manager delegating effectively to build their capability and expand team capacity.

  • Foster seamless collaboration between sales design and operations teams to deliver a unified and exceptional client journey.

  • Share strategic insights from client interactions to inform product development marketing strategies and operational improvements.


Market intelligence & brand ambassadorship

  • Champion our clients brand in every interaction embodying their values of luxury creativity and integrity.

  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and evolving client needs to keep our client at the forefront of the luxury interiors market.

  • Provide strategic feedback to leadership on market opportunities and emerging threats.


Requirements

  • 57 years of proven experience in a senior sales key account management or client relationship role ideally within luxury interiors high-end furniture architecture or a related luxury sector.

  • Demonstrable track record of managing a multi-million dollar client portfolio and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

  • Deep expertise in negotiating and closing complex high-value contracts with discerning clients.

  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to analyse account profitability and build strategic account plans.

  • Executive presence a masterful communicator and storyteller equally comfortable with C-suite executives and design professionals.

  • Strategic thinker who plans ahead anticipates client needs and identifies growth opportunities before they become obvious.

  • Resilient and solutions-oriented able to navigate complex challenges with sound judgment and composure under pressure.

  • A genuine passion for design art and luxury with the ability to articulate its emotional and functional value to clients.

  • Proven ability to lead mentor and inspire a team in a collaborative high-performance environment.
