Project Engineer

We are seeking to hirean experienced and results-driven Projects Engineer to oversee the planning execution and delivery of engineering projects within a dynamic retail and infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently within budget on schedule and in compliance with applicable engineering regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project scopes budgets schedules and contracting strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.
• Prepare tender documentation support bid evaluations and manage contract administration processes to ensure compliance and value optimization.
• Coordinate consultants contractors suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project planning execution and delivery.
• Monitor project costs timelines quality standards and compliance with technical specifications and statutory requirements.
• Support project commissioning handover processes preparation of final accounts project documentation and post-project evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to health safety environmental and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Construction Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in project management contract management or engineering project execution.
• Proven exposure to the design construction maintenance or upgrade of oil and gas facilities or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning procurement processes budgeting cost control contractor management and contract administration.
• Good understanding of health safety environmental quality assurance quality control and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Project and other relevant engineering software applications.
• Excellent analytical reporting communication and stakeholder management skills.
