Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking experienced Senior and Lead Mechanical Technical Engineers to join our Engineering Department in Amman Jordan. The successful candidates will be responsible for mechanical engineering design reviews technical coordination equipment engineering and multidisciplinary engineering support for large-scale CCGT Power Plants and Solar PV Projects.

This is a design and technical role not a site execution position.


Key Responsibilities :

Review and coordinate mechanical engineering designs and deliverables.

Review equipment datasheets technical specifications and engineering calculations.

Support technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.

Coordinate with Civil Electrical Instrumentation and Process Engineering teams. Review piping systems mechanical layouts and equipment interfaces.

Ensure compliance with project specifications EPC requirements and international standards. Participate in design reviews technical workshops and engineering coordination meetings.

Provide technical support during procurement construction and commissioning phases.

Identify engineering risks and recommend practical technical solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Senior Level: 8-12 years of experience

- Lead Level: 12 years of experience

- Proven experience in: CCGT Power Plants Utility-Scale Solar PV Projects EPC Projects Industrial or Energy Projects

Strong technical background in: Gas Turbines HRSG Systems Balance of Plant (BOP) Cooling Water Systems HVAC Systems Fire Fighting Systems Water Treatment Systems Pumps & Rotating Equipment Piping Systems
