ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of WAN routing switching SD-WAN network security and shared infrastructure services across airports and gateways. Working in a service-provider environment you will support pilot and customer migrations to the SITA Connect Versa platform collaborate with Engineering and Design teams troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure services are delivered securely reliably and with minimal operational disruption.

WHAT YOULL DO

Design and manage the complete lifecycle of wired and wireless LAN WAN SD-WAN network security cloud security and shared infrastructure services across airports and gateways from provisioning through decommissioning.

Lead pilot and customer migrations from existing environments to SITA Connect Versa including implementation validation troubleshooting and coordination with Design and Engineering teams.

Oversee WAN and service-provider network provisioning to ensure resources and capabilities are deployed accurately on time and in line with quality and operational standards.

Monitor service performance analyze trends identify improvement opportunities and ensure network platforms and software remain current and meet operational benchmarks.

Plan and implement service changes and enhancements manage associated risks and minimize disruption to live operations.

Develop and maintain accurate documentation covering customer networks airport network security shared infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.

Support incident and problem management and provide expert troubleshooting across routing switching NAT QoS IPsec and SD-WAN technologies contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Evaluate and adopt new technologies automation and methodologies that improve service provisioning lifecycle management resilience and efficiency.

Provide training technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operational teams on network services and lifecycle management best practices.

Support customer migration schedules across Europe and when required the Americas with flexibility to work outside standard Amman hours including early mornings or evenings.

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Network Engineering or a related field.

58 years of experience managing and optimizing the lifecycle of network services including provisioning monitoring enhancement and decommissioning.

Hands-on experience in WAN implementation migration deployment validation and troubleshooting including close collaboration with network Design and Engineering teams.

Strong practical knowledge of routing and switching in a WAN or service-provider environment including BGP OSPF static routing NAT QoS and IPsec.

Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and high-availability technologies including VTP STP RSTP PVST and HSRP.

Experience implementing and troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper routers and switches as well as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.

Working knowledge of data center switching technologies including Cisco Nexus and Cisco ACI.

Understanding of network service models service-level agreements network management tools and incident problem and change management processes.

Ability to analyze network scenarios communicate clearly with technical and customer-facing teams and deliver customer migrations with minimal operational disruption.

An associate-level security certification is mandatory.

NICE-TO-HAVE

CCNP CompTIA Network or an equivalent industry-recognized networking certification.

Previous SD-WAN experience particularly with Versa SD-WAN or an Associate Specialist or Professional-level SD-WAN certification.

Experience with network automation cloud security technologies or airport network infrastructure.
