Pipeline Crossings & Structural Works Lead

We are seeking a Pipeline Crossings & Structural Works Lead to join our project team in Jordan and will be reporting to the Pipeline Technical Manager. The role involves coordinating and executing all activities related to pipeline crossings piping interfaces and associated side works ensuring alignment with project design construction constraints and safety requirements.

What you will need to do:

• Coordinate all pipeline crossing works (roads railways existing utilities etc.) and ensure proper interface with piping systems.
• Prepare and review interface layouts between pipelines and adjacent works (e.g. crane operations access routes and temporary works).
• Determine and verify pipeline crossing coordinates (PINs) and ensure correct implementation at site.
• Assess the required workspace and alignment for each crossing ensuring safe and efficient execution.
• Evaluate and define crossing methodologies e.g. thrust boring open-cut or above/below crossings based on project geometry and angle requirements.
• Liaise with construction design and survey teams to confirm that planned routes clearances and deflection angles are achievable.
• Support in preparing method statements risk assessments and technical documentation for all crossing works.
• Monitor progress ensure compliance with design and safety standards and report on potential risks or deviations.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Civil or Pipeline Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in pipeline construction or heavy civil projects with specific involvement in crossings and interface coordination.
• Strong understanding of piping alignment routing and geometric constraints.
• Experience with survey data coordinates (PINs) and site layout planning.
• Knowledge of thrust boring open-cut and trenchless crossing methods.
• Familiarity with crane side works and the spatial requirements for safe equipment movement and operation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and pipeline design tools; GIS knowledge is a plus.
• Strong coordination communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken). Arabic knowledge will be considered an asset.
