Mid Quality Assurance Engineer Manual

Overview:

As a QA Engineer (Manual) you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing. This role combines manual testing techniques to identify document and track defects ensuring the final product meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor all stages of application development to identify document and resolve malfunctions ensuring they meet quality standards.
  

• Conduct hands-on testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web applications across various platforms.
  

• Review requirements specifications and technical documentation to provide clear timely and actionable feedback.
  

• Develop detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans to guide testing efforts.
  

• Create document and execute manual test cases ensuring full coverage of application functionalities.
  

• Analyze test results identify bugs or issues and collaborate with development teams to provide solutions and ensure resolutions are implemented.
  

• Report and track issues providing suggestions for improvements and validating fixes.
  

• Collaborate closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  

• Provide accurate work estimates and commit to deadlines for test execution.
  

• Optional Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium Playwright Cypress JMeter or similar tools is a plus.
  

• Stay up to date with industry trends new testing tools and best practices to continually improve testing processes.
  

Qualifications:

• 2 years of industry experience in software testing with a strong focus on manual testing.
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  

• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  

• Proven experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  

• Basic knowledge of test automation tools is a plus but not mandatory.
  

• Experience using bug tracking and reporting tools such as Jira.
  

• Expertise in UAT functional testing UI testing performance testing and cross-browser testing.
  

• Experience in testing backend services including APIs and databases like SQL.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an in-depth understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills both verbal and written in English.
  

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
