Job Summary

  • oversee and ensure the smooth daily operation of the Fairmont Gold Lounge.

  • Consistently deliver professional friendly and engaging service in line with Fairmont Gold standards.

  • Lead service within the Fairmont Gold Lounge ensuring menu offerings and food presentation consistently meet brand standards.

  • Foster high team morale and a strong spirit of collaboration to maintain exceptional service levels.

  • Motivate guide and provide continuous support coaching and development for all team members.

  • Support the training and onboarding of new colleagues while providing ongoing development for existing team members.

  • Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to build loyalty and enhance the Fairmont Gold experience.

  • Assist guests with hotel facilities and services in a knowledgeable professional and helpful manner.

  • Provide exceptional and personalized information regarding local attractions and points of interest.

  • Coordinate with the Front Office regarding hotel events group arrivals and special functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Ensure accurate billing procedures for Fairmont Gold groups and individual guests.

  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program for hotel restaurants as required.

  • Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety and actively contribute to a safe working environment.

  • Support and actively engage in the hotels environmental and sustainability initiatives including department-specific programs.

  • Adhere to all hotel policies procedures and the established code of ethics.

  • Work assigned shifts in other Food & Beverage outlets as directed by Management.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

  • Uphold the highest standards of internal and external guest service at all times.


Qualifications :

  • One year of supervisory experience in a hotel restaurant or lounge (four-diamond hotel).

  • Two years of progressive experience in a high-volume hotel restaurant or lounge.

  • Must have thorough working knowledge of hotel food & beverage operations.

  • Good English communication skills

  • Proven leadership motivational decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of hotel financial reporting structures.

  • Excellent proven food & beverage product knowledge is required.


Additional Information :

Experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English additional languages are a plus
