We arecurrently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Year 1 Phase Lead Teacher to join our team at a superb school in Slough. As Year 1 Phase Lead Teacher you will be responsible for leading the educational direction of the phase and ensuring highquality teaching and learning experiences for students. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Year 1 or year 2 teacher with a passion for education and leadership to make a significant impact in the development and success of students.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Year 1 phase and collaborate with teaching staff to develop effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans
  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor and assess student progress providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic growth
  • Implement and uphold school policies and procedures fostering a positive and safe learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a strong sense of community within the phase and promote crosscurricular learning opportunities
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and carers providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries
  • Lead and participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational practices

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience as a Year 1 teacher ideally with experience in a leadership or phase lead role
  • Excellent knowledge of the primary education curriculum and current teaching methods
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies
  • High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
