X-Ray Technician

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for Xray procedures
• Operate and maintain Xray equipment
• Position patients and Xray equipment to capture images
• Follow radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Review and analyze Xray images for quality and diagnostic value
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data
• Assist in the development of treatment plans based on Xray results
• Provide support in emergency and trauma situations

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field
• Valid state licensure and ARRT certification
• Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and techniques
• Experience in operating Xray equipment and related technology
• Proficiency in radiation safety and protection measures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced healthcare environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and analysis
• Understanding of patient care and comfort principles
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and medical terminology
