We are now looking for a motivated working student for our Finance and Accounting department, with 4-6 months contract (legal work permit must be presented).
You will work as part of a great team that is responsible for the day-to-day finance & accounting operations as well as all IFRS, US-GAAP and HGB reporting of GO2 Markets. This role merges of office management, bookkeeping, finance & accounting, and controlling tasks.

Tasks
- Support the team in its day-to-day operations, e.g. process invoices
- Bookkeeping
- Account payable & receivable management
- Tracking booking & payment of incoming invoices on the balance sheet
- Support preparation of outgoing invoices
- Manage intracompany invoices
- Tracking of incoming invoices to be recharged to subsidiaries
- Creation of intracompany invoices
- Support process of personnel & travel expenses
- Support the process of ordering office supplies and groceries
- Improve documentation of group finance processes.
- Assisting the organization's HR and finance functions by keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and updating financial documents.
- Perform other clerical duties such as regular checking Mailbox and filing.
- Take on small projects with respect to process improvements
- Assisting in designing, developing and implementing effective accounting and controlling tools and procedures
- Work on challenging HGB/US-GAAP/IFRS topics
- Support KYC & AML team
- Support with the ongoing bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
- Help us to solve new finance challenges with regards to our fast international expansion.
Requirements
- You are currently an enrolled business student (or bachelor's graduate starting master's program as soon as possible) and studying Business, BWL (Betriebswirtschaftslehre) or Business Administration ideally with a focus on finance and accounting, controlling and auditing/taxes,or other relevant subjects and you are interested in the renewable energy and consulting industry.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (high proficiency in MS-Excel)
- Capacity to take initiatives
- Passion to learn and express own ideas
- Previous experience in a finance and accounting role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritize needs
- Strong communication skills, Excellent in written and spoken German and English, capable of simultaneous communication with several stakeholders
