About the Projects:

Our client ison the brink of securing a significant contract with a major mining company in the Wollongong region focusing on extensive nonroutine maintenance and structural repairs. This strategic project spanning 12 years involves mechanical and structural work integrating closely with the daily operations of the mine and processing facility. The package is broken into 3 distinct portions as outlined below.

Roles Required

• Boilermakers
• Fitters
• Operators

Pay Rates

• Casual: $59.75/hour (penalised)

Who Were Looking For:

• Skilled mechanical tradespeople or operators seeking a refreshing change of environment.
• Appreciation for the flexibility of contracting combined with the stability of a major industry.
• Heavy industry experience is a bonus but not mandatory attitude is key.
• Based in or around Wollongong medically fit and able to pass a comprehensive preemployment medical.
• Openness to underground work is preferred but we can accommodate concerns.

The Opportunities Available

1. Maintenance Work: 5day week (Monday Friday). 8 Mechanical Trades required. 2 years work. ASAP Start.
2. Conveyor Repair Project: Weekend Work Roster (Friday Tuesday). Requiring 3x BMWs for 12 months work. ASAP Start.
3. Bin Repair Project: 10:4 Roster. Starting March/April. 10 Mechanical Trades and Operators required. 12 months work.

Competitive Remuneration:

Next Steps:

We aim to onboard our team on the 12th and 19th of February and then into March for the Bin Repair Project. Were in the process of finalising our crew conducting inductions and assessments to be ready for this exciting start.
