Xplore Group are currently looking for experienced 6G and 6GR Welders to join our company based in, Bolton, Greater Manchester. The qualifying candidate must be professional, self- motivated, physically fit and have an excellent work ethic. Prior experience within the shipbuilding sector is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Welding 6G Uphill/H-L045 and 6G Downhill/J-L045 Position
- Fabrication and installation of pipes and pipelines based on employer requirements
- Fabrication and installation of metal structures of different sizes
- Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and diagrams
- Lifting heavy weight metals and travel capability
- Providing guidance and training to others
- Keeping records and maintaining an inventory of the parts
- Observing safety reports and regulations
- Ability to follow senior official orders
- Inspecting products and making their list
- Ability to work in both night and day shifts
- Maintaining punctuality and daily time records
- Maintaining a neat clean work area
- Ability to use computer systems
- Showing mutual respect for co-workers
- Ready to work any other duty if assigned
