Summary:
The Web Designer position is a key role in the design and layout of websites and web applications. This role involves creating aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly website designs, working closely with the development team to implement these designs, and maintaining and updating websites as needed. The Web Designer will work closely with the product team to understand their requirements and deliver visually engaging and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts
- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Maintain and improve existing websites for optimization and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing websites
- Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers
- Document design phases and monitor website performance
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adherence to design standards at all times
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
- English C1/C2
- 3+ years of experience in web design or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and front-end languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with responsive design and optimizing designs for various devices
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose design issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team
