VMware Network Engineer

Job Summary: The VMware Network Engineer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing network infrastructure within VMware environments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a reliable and efficient network design that meets business needs.

Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

• Designing and deploying VMware-based network solutions, including virtual switches, distributed switches, and network configurations.
• Implementing and maintaining networking components within VMware vSphere environments.

Network Optimization and Performance:

• Monitoring network performance and optimizing configurations for maximum efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues in VMware environments.

Security and Compliance:

• Implementing network security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant standards within VMware setups.
• Configuring and managing firewalls, VLANs, and access controls within virtual networks.

Integration and Collaboration:

• Collaborating with infrastructure teams to integrate VMware networking solutions with existing systems.
• Working closely with server, storage, and security teams to ensure a cohesive network infrastructure.
