What you will be doing:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and finds permanent solutions to reoccurring equipment issues.
- Maintains and performs lock out/tag out
- Conducts monthly inspection of eye wash center, fire extinguisher, and housekeeping audits.
- Will be required to place orders for machine parts and tools.
- Maintains and repairs the facility's structure, equipment, grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Electrical systems, including lighting, circuits, and equipment
- Water supply, drains, pipes and appliances
- Pneumatic air supply, including air compressor
- Material handling equipment, such as lift trucks and racking
- Office furniture and office partition systems
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience you will need:
- High School or equivalent:
- 1-2 years of experience
- HVAC systems experience
- Ability to perform pipefitting work on water, gas and pneumatic systems
- Ability to locate and install new plant equipment, including all electrical, pipe fitting, rigging, and millwright work
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools to perform mechanical installations
- Ability to wear required safety equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and blueprints and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently on project
