Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and execute video editing tasks accordingly
• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging video content incorporating music graphics and special effects as needed
• Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates the intended message
• Manage and organize video files and assets for easy access and future use
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve video editing techniques
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and concepts for video projects
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards for quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to video content
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project progress
• Contribute to the development of video strategies and concepts that align with organizational goals
• Remain attentive to details to achieve precise and accurate visual effects and transitions
• Provide technical support for video equipment and software as needed
• Adhere to copyright regulations and obtain necessary permissions for music footage and other elements used in video content
• Participate in postproduction processes such as color correction and audio adjustments
• Optimize video content for various platforms and formats ensuring compatibility and quality across all channels

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Film Media or related field
• Proven experience as a video editor or in a similar creative role
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Advanced understanding of video editing techniques including pacing transitions and visual storytelling
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and professional video editing projects
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience in creating motion graphics
• Ability to work with various video formats codecs and file types
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality visual content
• Understanding of copyright laws and licensing for music footage and other creative assets
• Proficiency in audio editing and sound design is a plus
• Experience with 3D animation and visual effects software is a plus
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving video production technologies and techniques
• Passion for storytelling and creating impactful visual content that resonates with audiences
