- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with localization vendors, overseeing effective communication, collaboration, and performance management.
- Vendor Selection and Onboarding: Identify and evaluate potential localization vendors, conducting due diligence, negotiating contracts, and managing the onboarding process.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure vendor performance, regularly assessing and evaluating their quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contract Management: Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate, review, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce robust quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations, adhering to established quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance localization workflows, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related escalations, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in vendor performance and propose and implement corrective actions, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, linguists, content creators, and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of localized content into our products and services.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the vendor management team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
