About the Role:

SoftLabs is seeking a Vendor Management Office Procurement Officer for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with complex sourcing projects including strategic analysis and design, business case development, tender preparation, evaluation, supplier negotiation and implementation, in accordance with government and organisational procurement policies and legislative
  • Provide advice, guidance, and assistance of a very complex and/or sensitive nature on all aspects of procurement and contracts management to ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework, including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth) and associated policies and
  • Develop effective and collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, building understanding and commitment to support the successful delivery of the
  • Work within a team of procurement and contract management specialists to ensure delivery of high-quality outputs as part of delivery Vendor Management Office services to the enterprise, including building team capability and encouraging career
  • Provide high quality and timely advice, including guidance and support to the Director Indigo
  • Identify opportunities to provide innovative and effective approaches to procurement Communicate using professional judgement, evaluating risks and in the context of a complex and changing


Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in the development and implementation of complex and strategic procurements in line with the Commonwealth Procurement
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing high value and complex commercial negotiations, with strong negotiation skills and the proven ability to assess capability and commercial proposals
  • Significant experience in the management and operation of suppliers as well as a sound understanding of supplier
  • Expert knowledge and experience in successfully managing risk and delivering value for money procurement results within time restraints and with competing
  • Extensive experience in the development and implementation of complex and strategic procurements in line with the Commonwealth Procurement
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing high value and complex commercial negotiations, with strong negotiation skills and the proven ability to assess capability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability engage with stakeholders and build effective
  • Strong team skills and ability to create a positive workplace culture, foster initiative and develop team
  • Proven ability to communicate with influence, negotiate outcomes and manage complex stakeholder
  • Demonstrated personal drive and integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and budget


Desirable Criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracts (or working towards)
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (business, management, legal, commercial, information technology)
  • Experience in working within a commercial environment incorporating project, service delivery, technology, and supplier
  • Understanding of the Commonwealth Resource Management
  • Good understanding of technologies such as telecommunications, cloud, hardware and software and managed
