1.Setting up components for welding according to specifications.
2.welder's primary duty is to join metal parts together.
3.They may also fix holes in metal objects as well.
4.They work on the metal components of various structures to include pipelines, bridges, power plants, buildings, refineries, automobiles, or ships.
5.There is also more to welding than most people may realise.
6.Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
7.Align components using callipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
8.Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
9.Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
