Job Description

Jill Frisch & Freeze MiniMart is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a fulltime basis. As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from our distribution center to our various store locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate companyowned trucks to transport goods from the distribution center to store locations

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

Load and unload goods onto the truck using proper equipment and techniques

Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

Keep accurate records of deliveries including time of departure and arrival mileage and any issues encountered

Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance or repair issues

Communicate with dispatch and store managers to coordinate delivery schedules

Follow all company policies and procedures including proper handling and storage of goods

Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid commercial drivers license (CDL)

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver

Clean driving record with no traffic violations

Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations

Ability to lift and move heavy objects

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
