We are currently seeking a Train Assembly Technician - Mechanical that will be directly reporting to the Train Assembly Team Leader within the Mindyarra Maintenance Centre based in The role is responsible for vehicle assembly and fitting components in various stages of assembly on the production
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follows specifications and other appropriate instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble components on the production line using a variety of tools and This will include, but is not limited to, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and fitting safety critical
Support quality, productivity and process improvement Carry out lean production
Record and report faults to relevant areas of Perform work quality checks to ensure product meets quality and safety
Maintain a clean, well-organised safe work area which adheres to Company housekeeping
Maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and

PROFILE
Have at least 2 years experience in similar or related
Possess a tertiary qualification relevant to the position, such as certified accreditation on Mechanical or Electrical field; or workplace experience in relevant industries such as: Engineering, Automotive, Rail Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Electrical/Electronics, Construction, Civil
Experience with office management software MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).
