Test Lead - Automation Manual

1. Test Planning & Strategy:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers developers and stakeholders to ensure testing objectives are aligned with project goals.
• Define testing scope timelines and resource requirements.

1. Test Execution:

• Lead and execute both manual and automated testing efforts.
• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard tools and frameworks.
• Perform manual testing as necessary including exploratory testing regression testing and user acceptance testing.

1. Test Management:

• Oversee the entire testing process including test case creation execution and reporting.
• Coordinate with offshore testing teams (if applicable) to ensure testing activities are effectively managed and executed.
• Monitor and track defects working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Implement best practices and standards for quality assurance processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality and testability.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies tools and processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

1. Team Leadership:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the QA team.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Lead by example demonstrating a strong work ethic attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Test Lead or similar role with a minimum of insert number years in software testing.
• Strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Handson experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium Appium or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
