Test Automation Engineer

Test Automation Engineer Sydney/Melbourne/Canberra/Adelaide/Perth/Darwin/Tasmania

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake requirements analysis for an automated test platform through consultation with management developers ITS and other stakeholders.
• Document deliverables for an automated test platform in collaboration with staff.
• Implement an automated test platform per documented specification monitoring and reporting on project progress and risks.
• Train developers on the maintenance and operation of the test platform.
• Coordinate establishment of automated testing for systems and sites/applications.
• Hand over operation of the test platform.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Graduate qualifications in Information Technology and at least four years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
• Demonstrated expertise in development of test automation platforms integrated with CI/CD (Bitbucket preferred).
• Demonstrated extensive experience developing test plans for complex datadriven web applications.
• Demonstrated ability in requirement gathering documenting solution specifications and writing functional requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in project planning and management including demonstrated experience working within teams to achieve quality and timely objectives.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organization skills including written verbal and electronic communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment.
