This is a fantastic opportunity for a competent sales advisor who is capable of independent working, sales research and has customer service skills. This role offers an uncapped commission scheme and experience working with the Regional Sales Director.

As a Sales Advisor, you have three primary responsibilities:

  1. New business development and lead generation
  2. Building strong relationships with key clients and prospects
  3. Reporting on your pipeline of opportunities and reporting back into the business


Day-to-day duties typically include:

  • Cold calling as appropriate within your market or target area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Arranging development and introductory meetings with prospective/previous/existing clients
  • Attending networking events, industry events, exhibitions and conferences
  • Booking surveys for the regional Removals Consultants or Sales Directors
  • Overcoming objections to secure meetings, and giving the company the opportunity to bid on upcoming works
  • Improving secure rates by building strong relationships and knowledge of the clients needs
  • Early engagement ahead of any tender or contract opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and target markets that will lead to an increase in sales.


Other typical duties include:

  • Weekly reporting of sales projections and pipeline of opportunities to the Head of Business Development
  • Thorough maintenance of the cloud based CRM system
  • Monitor own performance against monthly revenue targets
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company s services
  • Providing Removals Consultants/Regional Sales Directors with all necessary information to be able to price a job
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Maintaining healthy and productive internal relationships
  • Understanding of Johnsons goals and purpose so you continue to enhance business growth and represent the company in an professional manner


Requirements

Skills:

  • Strong social skills to build rapport with existing and new clients
  • First Class customer service skills
  • Ability to promote yourself internally within the organisation
  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • To be well presented and professional at all times
  • A degree in Business Management or a Qualification in sales and marketing is desirable but not essential.

The role will involve travel nationwide and may involve overnight stays in lodgings.

As this team is small, the individual for this role should be self-motivating and have the ability to work alone with support from the Regional Sales Director.
