Technical Support Detection

Aiming to enhance our product support teams we are looking for as technical support focused on our detection product line. As a technical support of the detection product range you will support our international sales teams and customers in the implementation of their projects using our fire protection solutions and system components.

Tasks

Your duties will include:

• Provide technical support to our sales teams and customers / system installers
• Conduct presentations and technical trainings in person and online in English and (ideally) other languages
• Provide expert advice on the selection of fire protection solutions and system components
• Compile projectspecific material BOMs
• Configure fire alarm and extinguishing control panels
• Coordinate with suppliers create offers and process orders for projects
• Provide technical documentation
• Clarify technical questions and provide support with commissioning

Reporting line and travelling:

The role reports to Detection Product Manager located in Germany. You may be based on one of Viking offices in Spain Italy UK the Netherlands or Germany or we can arrange a home office workplace for you (in case you live too far away from our offices). Occasional travelling will be required.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in electronics engineering energy systems electronics engineering mechatronics ideally specializing in energy and construction technology or similar
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning electrical systems
• Knowledge of fire alarm and extinguishing control systems
• Experience in preparing quotations / order processing (knowledge of SAP is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office package
• Fluent English German and other European languages are a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Customer and solutionoriented personality
• Cando approach
• Independent and goal oriented
