We have a new opening for a Technical Sales Specialist that has experience working with power supply products and dealing with Tier 1 government contractors.

Our client has been a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) for 35 years and is based in Land O Lakes just north of Tampa. We have a proven track record of providing dependable electrical power conversion solutions and customized power engineering designs to meet our clients specific needs.
The client is a recognized technical leader in power conversion design. We produce extremely dependable ruggedized power supplies and backup power (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for military aerospace industrial and commercial power applications.
We are a fast developing organization that provides chances for professional development and promotion in a friendly work environment.

Here are some of the key responsibilities skills and qualifications we would like to see:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales management and engineers to discover and create strategies for supporting client prospects.
  • Maintain and follow up on an active sales opportunities record in the CRM (Hubspot).
  • Experienced B2B salesperson in the military/aerospace industry.
  • Promote and sell electricity solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales management on sales targets for planning and forecasting.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build commercial partnerships with both new and existing customers.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel to see customers and attend exhibitions.
  • A high school graduation is necessary; a bachelors degree is desirable or comparable experience
  • Having understanding about government contracts is advantageous.
  • Technical understanding/knowledge in the electronics sector
  • A history of Customer Management and Business Development.
  • Customer Relations Manager Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
  • Current customer relationships and prospects are a bonus.
  • Knowledge of power supply items is beneficial.
  • 2 years of expertise in B2B sales and customer service for military and aerospace customers
  • Microsoft Office product knowledge
  • Job Type: Fulltime
