Technical Project Manager

Role Description:

Kahuna Workforce Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager focused on the support of our

proprietary software, Kahuna, that bridges the gap between core human resources processes and

operational development to satisfy the requirements for competency assurance and competency

development.

Technical Project Manager is a pivotal role at Kanuna, where you will be responsible for managing our

SDLC process which touches multiple stakeholders such as Product Management, Engineering, Customer

Success, and our network of outside vendors. As a Technical Project Manager you will quarterback this

process from guiding the creation of detailed user stories, via continuous prioritization, through

deployment of quality new releases.

What Youll be Doing:

• Gain in depth knowledge of our SaaS project features and functionality
• Facilitate in determining and defining project scope and objectives
• Resource management and capacity planning for engineering resources
• Track project progress based on defined milestones and scope
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy,
• adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected
• deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement by defining radiators and
• indicators the reflect project health and progress
• Facilitate daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
• Manage engineering development projects and facilitate release planning
• Manage product release cycles and communication to all project stakeholders
• Managing Production support and operations
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies; Scrum & Kanban

What Youll Need for This Role:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information science, business, or a
• related field
• 3-5 years of project management and related experience
• Working knowledge of web application software development lifecyle and deployment approach
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Technologies: JIRA or other ticketing tool; Git tracking merge requests, branching and release
• management
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
