About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Hub Manager to lead our Tech Hub in fostering a thriving ecosystem for innovation and technology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in forming strategic partnerships with key tech industry stakeholders and will be required to demonstrate a strong familiarity with the local tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive strategies for the Tech Hub that support technology entrepreneurship, innovation, and community development.
- Build and maintain robust partnerships with tech industry stakeholders to enhance the hub's offerings and ensure alignment with industry needs.
- Visit our branch in Marka a minimum of three times per week to oversee operations, meet with partners, and ensure consistent service delivery across locations.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the local tech industry and leverage this knowledge to tailor the hub's services and initiatives.
- Oversee the daily operational management of the hub, ensuring a high standard of operational efficiency, member satisfaction, and safety.
- Monitor and manage the hub's budget, financial performance, and operational metrics to achieve set objectives and targets.
- Engage with the donor community, articulating the hub's value and impact, and exploring collaborative opportunities; previous experience in this area is considered a plus.
- Lead a diverse team, fostering an inclusive and innovative culture that supports professional development and collaborative success.
- Represent the Tech Hub in various settings, from industry events to public forums, to enhance its public profile and community engagement.

Required Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management, preferably within the tech industry or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to form and sustain partnerships within the tech sector and a proven track record in stakeholder management.
- Strong familiarity with the local tech industry, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize a team towards a shared vision.
- Strategic thinker with solid experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the competence to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including the donor community.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or an MBA is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written, is essential.
